1. Acceptance
By registering for or using Kreyo (kreyo.io), you agree to these Terms. If you are using Kreyo on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
Kreyo provides four API products:
- Kreyo PDF: generates PDF documents from HTML, templates, or Markdown.
- Kreyo Extract: extracts structured data from Spanish invoices using AI models.
- Kreyo FacturaE: generates signed FacturaE 3.2.2 XML from JSON, with XAdES digital signing and FACe submission.
- Kreyo VeriFactu: submits VeriFactu registros to AEAT in real time with SHA-256 chaining, XMLDSig signing, and mutual TLS.
All products are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee specific uptime SLAs on free tier plans.
3. API key and account
When you register, we generate an API key and send it to your email. You are responsible for keeping this key confidential. Do not share it publicly or commit it to version control. If your key is compromised, contact us immediately at support@kreyo.io.
One API key grants access to all four products. You may only register one account per email address.
4. Digital certificates
For Kreyo FacturaE and Kreyo VeriFactu, you may upload a .pfx digital certificate for signing documents. By uploading a certificate, you confirm that you are authorized to use it. Certificates are stored encrypted (AES-256) and used only to sign your documents. Kreyo never signs documents on your behalf using its own certificates — your software remains the SIF (Sistema Informático de Facturación).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kreyo to:
- Process illegal content or content that violates third-party rights
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service
- Circumvent rate limits or quotas (e.g. by rotating IPs or creating multiple accounts)
- Resell API access without prior written agreement
- Submit documents containing sensitive personal data beyond what is necessary for the intended use
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
6. Rate limits and quotas
Each plan includes monthly request limits as described on the pricing page. Requests exceeding the limit for your plan will receive a 429 Too Many Requests response. Limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
Public demo endpoints are limited to 3–5 requests per day per IP address, regardless of plan.
7. AI extraction accuracy
Kreyo Extract uses AI models to interpret document content. Extraction results may contain errors or omissions. You are solely responsible for verifying extracted data before using it for accounting, legal, or compliance purposes. Kreyo does not warrant that extraction output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific regulatory requirement.
8. PDF generation accuracy
Kreyo PDF renders documents from HTML, templates, or Markdown that you provide. The visual output depends on the content and structure of your input. Kreyo does not guarantee pixel-perfect rendering fidelity across all browsers, fonts, or page formats. You are solely responsible for the content you submit for PDF generation.
Kreyo does not retain, log, or cache the documents you submit or the PDFs generated. All data is processed in memory and discarded once the HTTP response is delivered.
9. Tax compliance
Kreyo FacturaE and Kreyo VeriFactu are technical components for generating compliant XML and submitting registros to AEAT. You are solely responsible for your tax compliance obligations. Kreyo does not act as a tax advisor, representative, or colaborador social. For VeriFactu, your software is the SIF and you are responsible for filing the declaración responsable before AEAT.
10. Payments and billing
Paid plans are not currently active. When paid plans are enabled, billing will be monthly in advance via Stripe. All prices are in euros (€) exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied as required by applicable law.
Failure to pay may result in account downgrade to the free tier. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
11. Intellectual property
Kreyo and its products are owned by the operator. You retain ownership of all documents and data you submit. By using the service, you grant Kreyo a limited license to process your data solely to provide the requested API response.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kreyo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or errors in extracted data.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kreyo after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
